Hi
I am trying out the free version and I found the backup fails if the user is not logged in.
I have set Run scheduled job as: SERVERNAME\Username but I cant see where the user needs to put in there password for the tack to run.

Can you please point me in the right direction please?

I am runningMySqlBackupFTP 5.0.7 Free

Regards
Paul.

Hello,

To connect to your MySQL Server, please click "Connect to MySql Server", select connection type and specify "Hostname", "Port", "Username", and "Password". You can test the connection by clicking the "Test MySql Connection" button.

Please find more details at https://mysqlbackupftp.c...backup-mysql-databases/

Thanks for your reply but I think you misunderstand.
I can connect to MySql, that is not the issue.

When I select to run as a Scheduled Job, I can insert the username, but there is nowhere I can see to add the password to run the job. If nobody is logged onto the server, the job will not run.

Update, I did add a picture linked to my Photobucket but it seems to have been removed. Not too sure why, but sorry if it was against any rules, I just thought it better to display the actual area of where I am looking at.
Cheers
Paul.

Thanks for the clarifications, we have checked your screenshots. They were displayed wrong, and have been removed, sorry.

To resolve this issue please click "Set as Current User / Your personal account" link at the "Advanced Backup Schedule".

Hi Alexander.
Thanks for the update.
I have set that but the MySQL backup fails when I am not logged onto the server. It will run manually when I am logged in, but if I logoff it will not run

I feel it is as under the username how does it carry over the correct login password for the folder to be accessed?

Thanks

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the details. According to your log, SERVERINT\c.browns_a user doesn't have a permission to the specified temporary folder. Please specify different temporary folder at the "Advanced Settings" window.

Thank You.
First indications is that has worked, as I set the folder and granted permissions and logged out the user.
I am not waiting for 5pm BST tonight for a server reboot and see if it runs as per scheduled at 6pm. I feel this will but I will report back anyways.

Thank you for your help
